A website has emerged in September 2009 that reminds us of our American heritage and justification for our country's values as so eloquently described in the Declaration of Independance.The website content is not lengthy, but provides a discussion of natural philosophy and the relevance to contemporary political activity and theory of government in recent times as practiced in the United States. Martin Luther King's civil disobediance is also recognized as an underlying change agent that has been applied to achieve social justice and the will of the people.

On behalf of the entire "values based community" as we have started to call it, thank you. As pastor of a connecticut church, my congregation has bonded on the Manhatten Declaration call to arms. This effort needs others to spread the word as you are doing. Unfortunately the press is silent. I'm also reading your other posts, unusual topic mix.
Hadn't heard about this, thanks for posting. I will pass it on, people need to read this document, maybe there is hope. Our society couldn't become more debased than it is now. maybe enough people now have the courage to stand up and speak as do the Declarations authors. Great job.
